This still life shot has some good potential. However, the combination of the lighting and what seems to me a bit of excessive blur, hampers your effort. The depth of field here is somewhat strained. The only focal point appears to be the bottle; but the blur, in addition to being overdone imo, is incosistent with what one would expect at similar distance from the lens. For example, one would expect the glass to be more focused. Even with f 1.8, I would hope to see a bit more focus.

Blur here could work nicely, but I do wish that there was just a bit more definition to the fruit both in the foreground and back, as well as the candles. Keep up the effort. This is nice for an early post here.

The apple pieces have oxidised - started to turn brown. To stop this in food pics dunk the apple pieces in lemon juice and they will stay white much longer.
